After an exhausting time of exams and Regionals, the Herts team were off to our routine Regional Inter Counties.
Surprisingly the travel was successful and no break downs or change of busses! We would like to thank the swimmers who gave up their time to represent their county.
We displayed fast swimming all round and good energy for a long Sunday in Norwich but fell short of places rather than the great efforts of the team.
Unfortunately, from an impressive win last year we finished 5ththis year. This reflected the strengths and full force of the other counties.
We would like to thank the team managers, Heather Stott and Heather Coleman without whose experience and management of the team the day would have not run without so smoothly.
We would like to thank the officials who gave their time to run the event and Amy and Kate Burchill for the team selection and contacting and collating response from swimmers.
At this time of year, inter counties is a great opportunity to race long course with fast swimming and pressure free fun! Please keep working hard and will see you all soon
