More than 90 young swimmers from Hertfordshire Swimming Clubs flocked to Denham Water Ski Lake on Sunday 31 May for the county’s very first Open Water Race Day.
The event gave participants the opportunity to experience open water swimming for the first time or sharpen their skills ahead of competing in 3km, 2km, or 1km races. Five experienced open water coaches generously volunteered their time to mentor and inspire the next generation of endurance swimmers.
