The Venue, Borehamwood – 19th/20th, 26th/27th January 2019 and 2nd/3rd February 2019
At every event we need the support of non technical helpers to ensure the event runs smoothly so that our athletes have the best possible experience. In order to run counties successfully we need to have around 345 volunteers across the three weekends. There are lots of different jobs; including marshalls to get your swimmers to their events at the right time, runners to get results to data recorders, people to hand out refreshments to officials and coaches, people to take entrance money and many more roles.
To volunteer please use this link.
Food – If you are able to volunteer for multiple sessions on the same day, food will be provided in the intervals between sessions – please mention any dietary requirements on sign up. (Food will not be provided for officials volunteering for single sessions, or those being mentored only)
Mentoring – If you require mentoring we will try and plan this but it is subject to sufficient officials volunteering to meet the licencing requirements.
Refreshments – will be provided for all officials whilst on the pool deck, however it is strongly advised that you bring your own water container which can be refilled during the interval.
Assessments – We will also be conducting official assessments during the championships up to Judge Level 2 – this will be subject to numbers volunteering. Officials who have met all of the pre-requisites to assessment should email Jonathan Pope .
