At the Annual Council Meeting on 18th March, Mark Horrod became the Swim England Hertfordshire President 2025-2026. Congratulations to him.
Congratulations also to the recipients of the annual county awards which were announced at the meeting.
The Wilkinson Sword was awarded jointly to Louise Fiddes and Grace Harvey in recognition of their huge success at the Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024, where they became Paralympic Champions. The presentation of this award was made at the County Swimming Championships 2025.
The Roy Roger’s Memorial Trophy was awarded to Graham Spratt (Cheshunt SC).
The President’s Plate was awarded to Nicola Rix (Ware SC).
